Join Luther Vaughan Elementary School as we celebrate Black History Month on Friday, February 27, 2026, at 9:00 AM with special guest speaker Gerald Knight, Chief of Police for the City of Gaffney. Appointed in July 2021 as the city’s first African-American police chief, Chief Knight will share a message of leadership, service, and community with our students and staff.
